Embarking on a Treasure Hunt in Skull and Bones: Unraveling the Relics of the Past Contract
Venturing into the vast seas of Skull and Bones, the Relics of the Past contract beckons as your inaugural experience in the art of treasure hunting. Offered by the Sea People Merchant in Vorona Falls, this quest propels you into a world of mystery as you set out to rediscover a long-lost relic, armed only with a map and a sense of adventure.
As you delve into this quest, you'll quickly realize it's the first of many treasure maps that pepper the game. Fear not, for these maps are surprisingly straightforward, making the journey ahead both thrilling and accessible.
The map you receive is a modest depiction of the elusive location, accompanied by a brief text entry offering a crucial clue. Whether you're eagerly pursuing this quest or still in the midst of gathering Acacia to enhance your ship, the solution to the treasure map awaits. Here's your guide to deciphering the map and locating the Lost Sea People Relic, ensuring the successful completion of Relics of the Past.
Upon your arrival at Vorona Falls outpost, where the Sea People Merchant awaits, the Relics of the Past contract is likely to fall into your hands, especially if you've been engaged in cargo delivery for Scurlock. The Sea People Merchant entrusts you with the task of finding a Lost Sea People Relic, providing a treasure map to illuminate your path.
The map reveals that the relic resides in Fort Louis outpost within the Tenina Coast region. Navigating south from Vorona Falls along the coast leads you to Tenina Coast. Sail past Tenina Town, and shortly thereafter, Fort Louis comes into view. Upon disembarking, a short walk into the area with wooden wreckage reveals a pillar of light, indicating the relic's hiding spot. Approach it, and when prompted with the "Dig Up Item," press F to unveil your bounty.
Here's the twist: instead of returning the Lost Sea People Relic to the merchant, your destination is a Sea People Settlement. While these settlements are scattered throughout, the most convenient one is Palisade Bay, situated north along the coast from Vorona Falls. Simply fast travel back, sail along the coast, and engage with the settlement. Opt for the contract option at the bottom, concluding your quest and unlocking the rewards that await you.
Embark on this adventure, decode the map, and let the Lost Sea People Relic be your gateway to both mystery and fortune in the expansive world of Skull and Bones. Happy sailing!
